Padel is a rapidly emerging new sport. This ensures that there are many beginners and newly interested players. Many athletes from other sports are also interested, such as tennis and badminton. But is it a beginner-friendly sport? Is it hard?

Is padel beginner friendly

In principle, anyone who wants to start paddling can. Padel is for every age and every level. It is also becoming easier to find a job in your area. Since the rapid growth of the sport, you will also find a padel court on more and more tennis courts. Loose padel associations are also being created. With these associations you can easily rent a job via, for example, the site or via e-mail. They often offer an option for people without a racket to rent rackets and balls at the court. So without making large purchases you can rent a court with some friends to go and play padel.

How hard is padel

First of all, padel is easier to start with than tennis. It starts right away when serving. With padel you can serve underhand. This is much more doable than a very complex overhand serve in tennis. The field is not that big so you can take it easy and not you are constantly running for the ball. This means you get tired less quickly and you can concentrate more on the technique. You are also not alone! You choose your own teammate who can support you during a match or of course a friendly game. The rules are actually quite simple. As a beginner you can master the rules very quickly.

Forget about your strength in padel! You don’t need much strength to play padel. In the game you have much more to control your ball. Because the field is so small, you need little force to hit the ball back to your opponent. This is also an advantage for novice players who may be a bit older or a bit younger!

How to get better at padel

After you’ve been on the course a few times as a newcomer, you may want to play more fanatically. Then it’s nice when you get better. But how do you get better as quickly as possible? I will recommend taking one or more classes as soon as possible. A coach or trainer will quickly notice what you can improve in your game. He/she will give you tips and smart ways to improve your technique. It also helps to choose better opponents and teammates. You will notice that you are going along on the level. You can also get tips from the better players around you.
