The Two Most Common Mistakes When Buying a Padel Racket

I have already explained to you in a blog how best to choose a padel racket. Now I’m going to talk about the two most common mistakes you can make when buying a padel racket.
Not having enough patience
When choosing a racket, there are several things you should do. Determine for yourself what kind of playing style you have and at what level you play. You should also consider for yourself how often you will play and how much budget you have. After you have determined that, you have to choose what kind of racket you want.
Choosing a racket
When choosing a racket, it is important that you do your research. Spend enough time on it and read carefully about what rackets are available on the market. There are a lot of them and there is a lot of difference in rackets.
So make sure you don’t buy the first racket that you think is good. First find a few that suit you and see which one seems best to you. For example, ask your trainer or someone you know who often plays padel.
Testing
If you are in a position to test a padel racket or perhaps several rackets, that is very nice. Not everyone can just test rackets. The people who can’t test have to do some more research to find the right racket.
For the people who can test it is important to be patient with every racket you test. You can’t get to know a racket in 3 minutes. Make sure you have at least 20 minutes to test a racket.
So be patient while testing, always remember that if you miss or hit the ball, there is a reason for it. You hit the ball wrong. This is never up to the racket, but up to you. So do not put the racket away after hitting it once. Learn to deal with it in a different way and you might like this!
You buy a racket for yourself and not for someone else’s opinion.
Everyone is different and everyone has different preferences. It is so common for players playing at the same level to have completely different rackets. This is because they have their own playing style and preference.
So choose for yourself certain characteristics such as: High sweet spot , a lot of speed, control, power and so on.
If you can determine for yourself that you want a lot of control, it saves a lot of searching because so many rackets fall off. After researching or testing, you have to make a choice. Make this choice especially for yourself, you feel best what works and what feels good. For example, if you know that you are prone to injury, do not choose a heavy racket.
Conclusion
Make sure you do your research well and that you listen to yourself. If you have the opportunity to test do it! This will help you immensely in making the right choice. Give everything a chance and don’t pick a racket because your friend happens to be playing with it. Everyone has their own play style and preferences. There is a suitable padel racket for everyone .
