Levels
I have divided the levels into three different types. Each level has a type of racket that best suits it. Going from beginner to intermediate to advanced. As you may already know, there are also 3 types of rackets. The round rackets, teardrop shaped rackets and diamond shaped rackets. In this text I will mainly focus on the rackets for advanced padel players. The advanced players are the paddlers who play intensively and have already mastered the technique. All types of rackets are suitable for those players. The playing style of the players actually determines what kind of racket you need. Advanced players can therefore also play with a diamond racket. These rackets are seen as the most difficult to play with and therefore they are also for advanced players. Can advanced players not play with, for example, a round racket? No, as I mentioned before, this is entirely up to your playing style. If you like control and precision, you can also play with a round racket as an advanced player.

Diamond rackets
The diamond rackets are especially recommended to advanced players. As you have read before, this is due to the high balance and the small sweet spot. Advanced players can therefore play with these rackets, on the other hand, novice players cannot. Novice players start with a round racket, but advanced players can also play with these rackets. So the advanced player can actually play with all kinds of rackets. The diamond type racket generates the most speed and power. That is why it is also recommended for intensive players. If you are looking for a middle ground, a teardrop-shaped racket is the best choice you can make. When buying a racket, I recommend that you read the description carefully and test the racket if possible. The teardrop-shaped rackets can have a higher and small sweet spot, just like the diamond rackets. The weight of the diamond rackets is also often heavy. The materials are often a bit harder, so you get more power from your racket. Due to all these properties of the diamond rackets, you lose control and precision a bit. But at a higher level, the power and speed can help you!
The different racket shapes.
Attacking and Defending
The racket choice is often quite difficult. What really suits your playing style? If you like an attacking game, it is useful to purchase a racket with more power. It is the diamond rackets that are suitable for this. Some players choose to play with a racket with a somewhat rough surface so that they can give more effect to the ball, along with control this can also win matches. Placing the ball on the field where your opponent is not. You can play well defensively with the drop-shaped and round rackets.
Material
The frame of the racket is often largely made of carbon or fiber. The more expensive rackets will also contain better materials. Like a sandpaper paint that sits on the surface of the racket. This ensures that you can give more effect to the ball. The inside of the racket is made of compressed EVA foam, this material has a shock-absorbing effect. The materials do not respond well to heat and rain. Make sure you don’t leave your racket in the blazing sun. Playing on in the rain is of course possible, but does not improve the quality of the racket. It is wise to look for a racket with a long lifespan. It is quite expensive to have your racket repaired and it is therefore wise to pay a little more for a good quality racket.
Conclusion
According to the professionals, as an advanced player it is best to choose a diamond racket. This is due to the speed and power that you can generate with these rackets. In my opinion, as an advanced player you can play with all rackets as long as it suits your playing style. So adapt your racket to your playing style. Your level is also a big factor in choosing rackets, the beginners, intermediate and advanced players each have a different racket shape that suits them best. If you are an intensive player, it is better to spend a little more on your racket so that you can continue playing with it for a long time. There will also be plenty of cheaper rackets, but the more expensive rackets often just use better material, which extends the life of your racket. When purchasing the best padel racket for advanced players you should therefore pay attention to: material, thickness, weight, blade shape and balance.
